  • Fancy dress party at the Kowloon Tong Residence of the Harilela family (Dr. Hari Harilela is a Branch Patron), in aid of the Hong Kong Ballet dancers' awards.

  • Joint cocktail reception, ROSL/Friends of Hong Kong Ballet, at the Cultural Centre, following the Dancers' Awards of the Hong Kong Ballet, which had been sponsored by ROSL.

  • Soiree at the Residence of the South African Consul-General in Hong Kong, with musicians from Hong Kong's Academy for Performing Arts.

  • Commonwealth Day cocktail reception, 2005, held at the Residence of the New Zealand Consul-General in Hong Kong.

  • Commonwealth Day Reception at the China Club, with performances of Commonwealth songs and dance, in aid of charity. Mrs. Anson Chan(Chief Secretary of Administration of the Hong Kong S.A.R Government, at that time) was the guest of honour.

  • Dinner reception at the Harilela family mansion in Kowloon Tong, with a jazz/ blues singer.

  • Cocktail receptions at the residence of the Canadian Cousul-General.

  • Buffet dinner at the residence of the South African Cousl-General.

  • Commonwealth Day Reception(in aid by charity) at the Furanra Hotel, with performance of Commonwealth songs by the NOVA choir.

  • Christmas receptions at the British Consulate-General, with singing by the Bach choir.

  • Lunchtime talk at the Helena May Club by Mr. Mike Rowse, Director of Invest Hong Kong.

  • Lunchtime talk at the China Club with Mr. Donald Tsang,
    present Chief Secretary for Administration of the Hong Kong
    S.A.R. Government.
  • Lunchtime talk at the Hong Kong Club by Sir Colin Imray,
    ROSL's (World) Chairman.

  • Black tie dinner at the American Club, with Ms. Christine Loh as guest speaker.

  • Buffet dinner at the residence of the Anstralian Consul-General.

  • Lunchtime talks at the Hong Kong Club by Commonwealth Consuls-General.

  • Lunchtime talk at the China Club by Lord Norwich, speaking about the characteristics of the English!

  • Royal Jubilee garden party, with T.R.Hs. The Earl and Countess of Wessex as chief guests. This function brought together members from most of the Royal and loyal societies in Hong Kong, to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of H.M. The Queen, our Patron.
