I am delighted, as the new Chairman of the League, to send this message to all its members in Hong Kong. The Central Council, the Director-General and everyone at World Headquaters in London send very best wishes for the continuing success of the Hong Kong Branch, the first of our branches to have its own website.

Since it came to life a few years ago, the Branch has gone from strength to strength. In addition to arranging social and arts-related functions, it gives a lot of support to charities in Hong Kong.

It has also 'exported' members to many other places, such as the Bahamas, South Africa and Thailand, where they now represent the League.

We are proud of what the Hong Kong Branch does in the name of the League and I hope to be able to see its activities for myself before too long.
